Norfolk Kiwi in the corridors of power!

Thanks to Norwich City of Ale organisers Phil Cutter and Dawn Leeder my Norfolk Kiwi made it into the House of Commons! Phil and Dawn were joined by Nick Bond of Visit Norwich, Stefan Gurney of the Norwich BID team and David Powles of the EDP to form a Norwich delegation which travelled down to London to meet members of the Parliamentary Beer Group. As well as informing the beer-loving MPs of the success of City of Ale they also took a whole host of Norfolk’s finest ales with them for sampling purposes. Phil, who runs the Murderers in Norwich, kindly took this picture of a bottle of Norfolk Kiwi in The Strangers’ Bar. Apparently the MPs were very impressed by the Norfolk beers and have vowed to share information about City of Ale with parliamentary colleagues in the hope that other cities will follow suit with their own beer-centric events. Well done City of Ale!
