Jo C’s pulls off an Olympic-style clean sweep!
2016 has started fantastically for me, and I had three reasons to be cheerful after attending the recent Norwich Beer Festival Awards at The Hostry in the city’s Cathedral. Even my most optimistic expectations were surpassed when I learned I had landed an Olympic podium-style hat-trick of awards: First my Bitter Old Bustard won a silver award in the ‘Best Bitter’ category from the Norwich CAMRA judges who attended the festival. Then my Norfolk Kiwi landed a gold award from the judges in the ‘Bitter’ category. And to cap a marvellous evening Kiwi received a bronze award in the Champion Beer of East Anglia category. I was absolutely thrilled with the gold and silver awards to but the bronze I received for Kiwi was the highlight of the evening because it was so unexpected. It was an amazing surprise and really put the top hat on a fantastically enjoyable evening with Norfolk’s beer glitterati!
