Jo C’s Norfolk Ale features in Sainsbury’s Magazine

Sainsbury’s is the second largest supermarket chain in the country, so I was delighted to see my beer feature in the August edition of Sainsbury’s Magazine. Writer Leanne Bracey had spent 48 hours on a whistle-stop tour of Norfolk a few months earlier to meet some of the food and drink producers taking part in the Norfolk Food & Drink Festival for her ‘Gourmet on The Go’ feature. In her article Leanne was very complimentary about my beer and said I was making a name for myself as a brewer in a county known for its superb local produce, particularly its malting barley. She also stayed at Stratton’s Hotel in Swaffham, where my beer is on sale, and The Ship Hotel at Brancaster which is part of my husband Chris’s Flying Kiwi Inns chain, as well as namechecking Wells-based Arthur Howell and Whin Hill Cider, both friends of Jo C’s. Thanks Leanne! You can read Leanne’s article here.
