Chillies to the left of me, salami to the right…

You can’t beat a good country show and the East Anglian Game and Country Fair is a REALLY GOOD country show. Despite the weather on Saturday being less than ideal my little helper Troupy and I enjoyed brisk trade, selling plenty of gift packs, mini casks and even some branded Jo C’s clothing (see this website for details!) The second day was even busier as the crowds came out in force to enjoy the sunshine. One of the nice things about these events is being able to meet other dedicated traders and hear their stories. This year we were situated between a lovely couple from Lincolnshire selling their home made sweet chilli sauces and a German man selling a whole range of salamis, kabanos and chorizo. I’m afraid poor Troupy was worn down by hearing him regale allcomers with his repetitive sales patter and had to go for a lie down at one point. Thanks so much to everyone who stopped to say hello and ask about my ales, and well done to the event organisers, who did a fantastic job!
